TD Canada Trust shares a vision with A Musical Taste and creator Deborah Davis

TD Canada Trust has committed to advancing the education of students on the history of music in Canada. TD is recognizing the charity's contribution to the community and is giving $100,000 to become a platinum sponsor. These funds will give thousands of students a chance to see A Musical Taste of Our Canadian Heritage.

In 1999 Deborah Davis approached her TD Canada Trust branch manager in Ottawa for sponsorship to present A Musical Taste of Our Canadian Heritage as a unique, entertaining and educational production that would inspire students and teachers to celebrate their heritage.

TD Canada Trust supported this initiative from the beginning and their support has grown over the years. A Musical Taste of Our Canadian Heritage has been enjoyed by more than 150,000 people at events ranging from school presentations to Canada Day's centre stage on Parliament Hill.

TD believes that everyone has a role to play in building a healthy and prosperous society and making contributions that have a lasting, positive impact is the driving force behind their community giving program.
